As Director of RODL I am fulfilling a lifetime ambition of running my own successful business with a brilliant team on board.

During 35 years working within the rail industry I have on many appointments been responsible for the safety management development and compliance requirements for both the operational and train driving aspects of a train operating company’s Operational (Railway) Safety Case.

Away from work my interests include cycling, skiing, hill walking and an avid fan of West Ham United.

Dave Daw, Training and Development Manager

As the Training & Development Manager for RODL my role involves the production of bespoke training courses to suit our customer’s specific needs in line with current industry standards.

I also manage the competence of our highly experienced trainers within our company and that they meet our customers and our own high standards when delivering the courses.

Dave Moore. Operations Trainer

Dave is a 25 year veteran and an outstanding trainer, having risen from the ranks of trainee driver to full time operational trainer.

Currently Dave is training the future generation of drivers in operational rules and regulations, and supporting Dave Daw in the delivery of the GSM-R cab radio train the trainer programme.

Denny brings to RODL 35v years of operational experience having been a train driver, trainer, line manager, assessor, investigator and risk assessor.

Not only is Denny a great communicator, he brings a wealth of experience, which all of us within the team and our clients greatly appreciate.

Bill Adams, Senior Operations Specialist

Bill came to RODL after a lengthy railway career in operations and signalling. He is currently involved in the GSM-R project and is training train drivers in the operation of the cab radio. Having Bill deliver this training allows drivers to understand more about the interaction between the signaller and the driver. And from the feedback we get proves its all worthwhile

Wendy Bridges, Company Secretary

Wendy is our most valuable asset, because not only does she interact with our customers, she is also responsible for all travel arrangements, workload planning and paying our wages.

Wendy has been working for Alan since 1994 and knows exactly how the business needs to be run.

Away from work Not only is Wendy a fantastic mother to three great children, she also manages to fit into her spare time, marathon running, long distant cycling trips, mountain walking and skiing.
